Venues & Badges

Hello there! This year we are doing something a bit different - taking over nightclubs in the historic Fruit Loop District. We will be hosting events on Friday Aug 8th at the Gypsy Nightclub from 5pm to 9pm. We will be hosting events on Saturday Aug 9th at the Piranha Nightclub from 12pm to 9pm. There will be a free shuttle running from the DEFCON Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino, and the night clubs.

We are hosting a private event at these nightclubs and you will need one of our 2025 badges to enter:

DEFCON Furs 2025 Fully Assembled Badge for a minimum donation of $150 - You can preorder assembled here or get onsite.

DEFCON Furs 2025 Blank PCB Badge (no parts) for a minimum donation of $40 - You can preorder blank here or get onsite.

Both badges include access to all DEFCON Furs 2025 events and parties, 3 drink tickets for Gypsy, 4 drink tickets for Piranha, and our sincere appreciation of your support. You will also have free re-entry to Gypsy/Piranha events for the rest of the night after our parties. Must be 21+ to enter, call drinks are cash bar.

Fully assembled badges are also available for purchase at the Hacker Warehouse booth in the DEF CON vendor space if you are attending DEF CON (subject to badge availability).

NOTE: All pre ordered badges for "pick up" must be picked up at the Gypsy/Piranha during our event hours. Badges marked for shipping will be shipped by Aug 15.

DEFCON Furs 2025 Badge Details

We have here the next iteration in DEFCON Furs #badgelife badge! This year our badge will have you chirping with a LoRa radio, NFC, 36 RGB LEDs, a RP2040 processor, MicroPython scripting, features touch points (including the return of booping), and support for two Shitty Add-ons (V1.69bis). The badge software and parts list will be posted publicly on GitHub soon. This badge does not get you into DEF CON — you should also get their badge if you want to attend DEF CON. You will need our DEFCON Furs 2025 Badge (Assembled or Blank) to get into our 2025 DEFCON Furs Event Space. We appreciate your support, and it directly impacts members of our community and the charities we support.
